Naperville Railroad Prototype Modelers Meet 2005 - The following are photos from the Sunshine Models sponsored Railroad Prototype Modeler (RPM) meet. This meet was held in Naperville IL., 2005 at the Holiday Inn.
Railroad prototype modelers elect to use photos and blueprints to build exact replica models. The goal is to attain as much realism as possible with each model car, locomotive, structure or vehicle.
The gallery includes a lot of models I found personally interesting. There are a few steam era pictures along with some maintenance and passenger equipment. I like to focus on modeling freight cars during the 1970s era so my photos reflect models of that time frame.
There were too many models to photograph all of them! The 80 pictures here represent a bit more than half of the total models on display.
