Prototype modeling is the art and craft of replicating real trains in model form. Modelers strive for a high amount of realism when building model locomotives, cars, structures and even scenery. A lot of the modeling is museum quality and there are three pages of photos showcasing the display room. Below is a mere sampling of the models in the display room, please enjoy the photos.
I want to thank all of the individuals who participated and brought models to the meet this year. I personally appreciate the chance to see the inspiring work of others and the informal chats in the display room. I find the meets to be an encouraging way to try new techniques to improve my models. The B&O C-23 caboose I brought this year isn't finished but well on the way to becoming a unique part of my collection.
